Barbara Worek - employee of the Institute of Sociology at Jagiellonian University and expert at the Center for Evaluation and Analysis of Public Policies at Jagiellonian University. She gained research experience by participating in Polish and international projects on evaluation, public policies, human capital, lifelong learning. 

She has authored and co-authored publications on public policies, research methodology, evaluation and numerous research reports. Her research interests revolve around human capital issues and public policy analysis and qualitative research. Since 2009, she has been involved in the study of the Human Capital Balance, and since 2020 in research projects related to the development of distributed energy in Poland. 

Since 2017 she has been a member of the Scientific Council of the Foundation of European Regions for Research on Education and Vocational Training (FREREF), and since 2020 of the Sectoral Competence Council for the Development Services Sector.
