Young Sociologists Congress (Kongres Młodej Socjologii) is an initiative of the Scientific Association of Sociology Students of the Jagiellonian University, which was started over ten years ago. From the very beginning it was conceived as a space for exchanging both knowledge and experiences by young researchers, representatives of various humanities and social science branches, such as sociology, anthropology, psychology, law, political science and many, many others. Within their presentations and discussions based on them, the participants consider a wide range of contemporary issues through the lens of a social perspective.
The conference is designed as a three-day event. Each day is scheduled for three main blocks. Two of them include several parallel sessions, which are separated by the third one, which are workshops run by academic teachers.
The 11 Young Sociologists Congress will take place on 16-18 April 2021 in Cracow at the Jagiellonian University (Institute of Sociology, Grodzka 52 street). The conference will be held as an international conference, the languages of the congress will be Polish and English, more information in Call for papers.
